Surprise, surprise! We lost another challenge. While it does sucks that we lost, one good thing came out of it - Ben basically sealed his fate by costing us this challenge. Ben will be voted out at this tribal council. Natalie and I had talked earlier about if we lost the challenge who we'd vote out - Ben or Marisa. Ben just made the choice so easy for us.
I'm actually glad in a way that we can get rid of Ben right now. Natalie told me she had a conversation with Dave, Ben, and John and that they agreed to work together along with myself and Marisa once the tribes merge. On paper, that alliance is fantastic because we would have had the majority assuming we merge at ten. However, the one thing that bothered me about it was that we did not know for sure if Ben or Marisa would flip on us later in the game. Ben is now a non-issue since he'll be voted out. I really believe that we can trust Marisa. I mean, she has helped me, Natalie and Dave vote out her original tribe mates - Russell, Liz and now she's voting for Ben too.
I want to see if I can form a closer bond with Marisa and maybe even get a final 3 or final 2 deal set with her. Natalie is my main ally right now but in case things don't work out with her, I'd like to have an alternate plan set to go. We'll see what happens.
